What college or professional athlete inspires you and why?

Allyson Felix inspires me because she dominates in track and field, and she has won gold medals after becoming a mother.

What is one of your most memorable moments as an athlete?

My most memorable moment as an athlete was when I had a personal record in the mile, taking first place in Matt's Mile at the Matt Kero Invitational meet at Duluth Denfeld High School.

What is your favorite activity or hobby outside of sports?

My favorite hobby outside of sports is photography because I like being outside.

Describe your dream vacation.

My dream vacation would be to sit on a nice hot tropical beach, soaking up sun rays and watching the surfers.

Coach says:

"Sydney has been a leader on our team for a few seasons now. She started in the role a few years ago as a lead-by-example type of person, one you can always count on doing the right thing and working hard," North Shore Coach Zack Vieau said. "This year as our captain she has stepped into an even larger role and has really helped mold our young players into the people they are today. Sydney is going to be very missed next year and is somebody you cannot replace but hope that one of the younger girls learned from her and steps into that amazing leader role on and off the ice."
