The Cloquet-Esko-Carlton Lumberjacks scored twice in each period during their 6-3 win over the North Shore Storm on Tuesday, Dec. 4, in Two Harbors.

Rheo Johnson scored in the first period, Sydney Haugan scored in the second and Gracie Komarek scored in the third, but the Storm were badly outshot.

The Lumberjacks' Taylor Nelson scored four goals and the CEC top line had a hand in all six scores.

North Shore senior Jessie Ketola tallied a pair of assists, while Callie Klemmer and Hope Ernest each had one.

Goalie Maureen Dwyer made 21 saves, while CEC's Elise Lund needed to make only 10 stops to preserve the Lumberjack win.

North Shore (1-3-2) will play Minneapolis at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Parade Ice Arena in Minneapolis.
