Silver Bay senior headed to Waldorf

Silver Bay senior Nick Perfetto signed his national letter of intent to play baseball next spring at Waldorf University in Forest City, Iowa, during a ceremony Wednesday at William Kelley Schools. So far this year, Perfetto is 2-1 on the mound for the Mariners with 27 strikeouts and a 2.18 earned run average. In his two victories, Perfetto has thrown a complete seven inning game and allowed just three hits and just one hit in a shortened five inning game.

Perfetto is also batting .272 with two RBIs and a double to start the 2017 campaign.

Waldorf is a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics school and plays in the North Star Athletic Association. The Warriors are 18-35 overall this season and 19-05 in the NSAA.
