Born 7/25/1953 Died 12/30/2019
Gary was born in Racine, WI to Lois and Victor Jensen. He graduated from MD Bradford HS, and went to UW Parkside and Gateway Tech, where he got his A&P license for aviation mechanic. He worked for Eastern and Northwest Airlines, and his job took him to FL, GA, and MN. After retirement, he owned his own business (Red Dog Enterprises) with his son, Alan, and wife, Pam. He married his HS sweetheart, Pamela Ingrouille on 5/25/1974, and they had two children, Jennifer (Todd) Garland and Alan Jensen. Gary’s friends in the airlines called him Large Lead, and he was just that--large and in charge! He had an opinion on everything, and loved to talk politics. That made those blue eyes sparkle! His family was the light of his life, and he often said how that was his best achievement. He was so proud of his children. His home on Thomas Lake was where he wanted to be, and his hobbies included cabin building with his son, woodworking, hunting, fishing, and car racing, which he actually tried for 3 years! He loved to go to his hunting shack with buddies Joe and Pat, and had coffee each day with his “Sunshine Boys”--Andy, Donny, and Skip. When he got his Cancer diagnosis, he said he had lived his life and had done everything he had wanted to do, and he truly meant it. He is survived by his mom, Lois, sister, Cynthia, wife, Pam, children, Jeni and Alan, and grandsons, Harper and Kesler. He will be sadly missed.
