Two Harbors Chamber to host information meeting about sales tax

The Two Harbors Area Chamber of Commerce will host an informational meeting for its members Wednesday, March 7, at 4 p.m. at the Law Enforcement Center. The City of Two Harbors is seeking a new half-percent dedicated sales tax to help offset road and infrastructure costs.

The City is addressing legislators at the capitol during the 2018 session with the intention of moving forward to public referendum on November's ballot. The City is requesting a resolution of support from the Two Harbors Area Chamber for this half-percent tax.

Residents who aren't able to attend the informational meeting, but want to submit feedback, may email or call 218-391-5081.
