Your forecast for today: Temperatures are expected to remain above the freezing mark for the most part, so any snow accumulations will be light and mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. The best chance for any snow will be along the Iron Range, the higher terrain of the North Shore and stretching southwest towards the Brainerd area. Locations near Lake Superior should only see rain today. The clouds and precipitation will keep us on the cool side with highs struggling to reach 40 degrees.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies will linger this evening into the overnight hours with any rain or snow showers tapering off rather early in the evening. We could see a few lake effect snow showers continue overnight along the South Shore with a low near 35 degrees.

Tomorrow: An area of high pressure slowly begins to build into the area on Wednesday and brings dry conditions back into our forecast. Clouds will be stubborn to clear out though with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 45 degrees.
