Your forecast for today: The pesky area of low pressure responsible for the wet and nasty weather the last few days will slowly begin to pull away today. We will be on the backside of this system with mostly cloudy skies and a few lingering light showers sticking around. Winds will again be breezy, but they will shift out of the west and gust up to 30 mph. Temperatures will still be on the cool side with a high near 57 degrees.

Tonight: The overcast skies and windy conditions finally come to an end this evening with clearing skies expected overnight. Temperatures will drop to a low near 47 degrees.

Tomorrow: Conditions will start to improve on Saturday with plenty of sunshine in the forecast during the morning hours. We will see some clouds increase in the afternoon with a stray shower or two possible by the late afternoon and evening, but any showers will be light and very spotty. Temperatures begin to warm up with a high near 66 degrees.

We should return to the low 70s by Sunday and should see some partly cloudy skies after a few showers Saturday night into Sunday morning. The warming trend continues into early next week with highs likely in the mid to upper 70s Monday and Tuesday.
