Your forecast for today: The best chance of showers will be north of the Twin Ports, with areas to the south likely staying dry. Showers taper off by the afternoon, but with some sunshine peeking out and some daytime heating, I can’t rule out a stray shower lingering in the afternoon. The gusty winds will return once again with gusts out of the northwest at 30 mph and a high temperature near 70 degrees.

Tonight: High pressure settles in behind the cold front tonight with a beautiful, clear and cooler evening ahead. Winds will also be much lighter with an overnight low near 47 degrees.

Tomorrow: Our Friday is looking fantastic as we inch towards the holiday weekend. We are expecting plenty of blue skies and sunshine along with light winds and a high near 69 degrees.

The beautiful weather pattern continues to hold strong into the weekend with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the low 70s for both Saturday and Sunday. A chance of showers returns on Labor Day, but it looks like those showers should hold off until later in the afternoon hours.
