Your forecast for today: We will start off this morning with a mix of clouds and sunshine as the mild temperatures continue. A low pressure system will move in from western Minnesota bringing clouds and a chance of thunderstorms by the afternoon and evening hours. The severe threat is fairly low, but a few storms may become strong enough to produce small hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain. Temperatures will climb to a warm and humid high near 78 degrees.

Tonight: The low pressure system will be slow to move across the region, which will keep the clouds, showers, and occasional thunderstorms in the forecast this evening and into the overnight hours. Temperatures will remain mild with an overnight low near 62 degrees.

Tomorrow: The clouds and showers will linger for most of Wednesday under mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be slightly cooler with an afternoon high near 75 degrees, but it will be very humid and sticky.

Showers will begin to taper off Wednesday evening with a sunny and warmer stretch of weather starting Thursday and lasting into the weekend.
