The Minnesota Department of Transportation has scheduled an open house Thursday, Nov. 14, for the public to learn more about the state Highway 61 bridge projects at the Silver Creek and Stewart River in Lake County.

The open house will be from 5:30-7 p.m., at the American Legion Post 109, 614 First Ave., Two Harbors. There will be a presentation at 6 p.m.

The open house will provide an opportunity to learn more about a Highway 61 bridge projects scheduled for construction in 2021 and 2022, which include replacement of the Silver Creek Bridge, rehabilitation of the existing historic Stewart River Bridge and addition of a new bridge inland next to the existing bridge near Betty’s Pies.
