Two Harbors police issue 104 parking warnings — in 1 day

News-Chronicle

Winter has come again, which means off-street parking in Two Harbors.

The Two Harbors Police Department issued 104 warnings for overnight parking Wednesday, Nov. 28.

Residents are not allowed to park or leave standing any vehicle on any street from 2-6 a.m. every day from Nov. 1 to April 30.

Residents should also note that if snow has fallen, the prohibited hours on any street are extended from 2 a.m. to such time as snow plowing from curb-to-curb has been completed on that street.

Police issued warnings every night following Nov. 28, though the number decreased from 104 to 42 from Wednesday to Thursday, and was down to 23 warnings by Sunday evening.
