A 50-year-old woman was reported to have been hit by a vehicle during the annual Mud Run on Sept. 1 north of Nimrod, Minn.
According to the Wadena County Sheriff's Office, a North Memorial Air Care helicopter was called in at approximately 2:35 p.m. to transport Pamela Coolidge of Two Harbors after she was struck by one of the Mud Run vehicles in the pit area. Coolidge's family was participating in the event. The sheriff's news release stated there are no official updates on her condition.
Assisting agencies at the scene were Sebeka Fire and Rescue and Tri-County Ambulance.
The Nimrod Mud Run was hosted by the North Country Mud Racing Association.
