The Lake Superior 20/20 Studio and Art Tour may have featured gray and misty weather, but that didn't slow the flow of visitors to the many stops along the tour route.
Artists along the North Shore from French River to Silver Creek received visitors to their homes Sept. 27-29. The self-guided tour brought attendees through the gravel road countrysides with helpful signposts to guide along the way.
Each stop on the tour featured a host artist and one, or often more, guest artists set up on the hosts' lawns or in tents. Some embraced the natural environment and placed pieces on top of tree stumps or hanging from trees. Most artists featured nature throughout their works by showcasing native flora and fauna of Lake Superior.
