Need a little more fine art in your life? Two Harbors' fine arts festival, Under the Spreading Walnut Tree, is about to mark its 24th year next week.

The festival is Friday, Aug. 10, through Sunday, Aug. 12, on the grounds of the P.K. Anderson House near the Superior Hiking Trail. More than 25 fine artists are set to participate this year, including many returning artists from Duluth, Superior and Two Harbors, as well as some Twin Cities artists.

"We've got a wide variety of art and artists, from pottery to painting, photography to woodworking, glass to printmaking and more," organizer Christine Williams said.

The juried festival will award prizes to the first-, second- and third-place booths.

Under the Spreading Walnut Tree will be open from 3-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
