Local artists' photos hang in St. Paul waiting area
Lindy Scanlon works as the court supervisor for the Ramsey County Commitment Courts in St. Paul, which deals exclusively with mentally ill and chemically independent individuals. The photos of Two Harbors photographer Christian Dalbec caught her eye recently, and she ordered some of her prints to hang up in her home.
Then, she started thinking about how she could spruce up the waiting area at her job, where clients were waiting in a lobby area with bare white walls for their court appearances. She picked out 12 of her favorite photos to agency partners, who then narrowed them down to the four photos. The purchase was approved by her supervisor and the photos were hung in the waiting room last week.
“Mr. Dalbec was reasonable in price and offered a great product,” Scanlon told the News-Chronicle.
She said everyone at the office is excited about the new photos, including landscape photographs and one of a bird.
