We don’t want to say it’s so, but it’s true. The summer reading program is coming to an end. We have had so much fun. We have a final week of fun activities planned and we want to see all of our summer friends at the library one more time to Paws for Reading.
July 29, 1 p.m. at the Reunion Hall: The Zinghoppers. Utilizing state of the art sound and projection, the Zinghoppers band invites your kids on a musical concert journey to the zoo where they’ll experience lots of animals up close and personal. Along the way, there will also be a celebration of books and reading. Fun, fresh and fully interactive - this show encourages audience participation and patrons will be dancing, singing and zinghopping along.
This show will feature state of the art video projections on screen of the entire PBS TV show cast: Funky Possum, Olo Da Donkey, Coconuts The Kangaroo, J-Star and DJ Kitty - along with the Zinghoppy Dancers.
July 30, 1 p.m. at the library: Raise the Woof Bingo games.
July 31, 1 p.m. Learn how to turn a sweater into a dog bed with this class. Bring a sweater or sweatshirt, no hood. Make a cozy bed for your favorite dog or other-pawed pet. This program is intended for teens.

July 29, 4 p.m. at Two Harbors Publick Library: The Zinghoppers!
The EMMY Award winning Zinghoppers band invites kids to an imaginative musical concert journey to the zoo! Audience members will be dancing, singing, and zinghopping along as they celebrate reading, music, and animals. Created especially for preschool and elementary age children, their goal is to engage, educate, and entertain! Stop by the library for a musical performance you’ll never forget! There will be no family movie this week.
July 31, 2:30 p.m. at Two Harbors Public Library: Special Bear Storytime
Calling all bears! This week’s storytime will be led by our wonderful volunteer Ben. Bears will be our theme, and each child will go home with a Smokey the Bear book to keep. Storytime is for ages 1-5.
