Rotary event lights up Thomas Owens Park

The North Shore Rotary Club hosted "Light Up the Park" on Thursday, Dec. 6, in Thomas Owens Park, Two Harbors.

The park was decorated with many strands of lights, and bonfires provided warmth and marshmallow toasting. The club also provided hot cocoa.

Elves distributed jingle bells to excited children while they waited in line to sit on Santa Claus' lap. Parents took photos of children with St. Nick while listening to the sounds of of the McCullough Brothers.
