• Friday, Aug. 10, at 1 p.m. — Join Kurt Mead, local naturalist, dragonfly expert and author of "Dragonflies of the North Woods" as he teaches us about the wonderful world of dragonflies. Why do dragonflies have such big eyes? How many insects can one dragonfly eat? How long do they live? Kurt will explain how dragonflies do what they do and why they are so important.
