New Orion telescope at library for checkout
The Two Harbors Public Library is dedicated to providing quality STEAM kits to empower our community by engaging our curiosity and promoting lifelong learning. Thanks to a $500 grant from the Shopko Foundation, we have acquired an Orion AstroView 90mm Equatorial Refractor telescope. The kit comes with a solar filter and a moon filter for stunning views of the sun and moon.
With this intermediate-level telescope and its various eyepieces with different magnifications, patrons can gaze at a variety of phenomena, including the Orion Nebula, Saturn and Jupiter's major Galilean moons.
This telescope must be checked out and returned to the Two Harbors Public Library. The telescope comes with a variety of manuals, including a step-by-step picture guide.
A signup is available for those interested in attending a class.
