An estimated 140 ukulele enthusiasts attended the Silver Creek International Ukulele Carnival at the Silver Creek Town Hall on Saturday, Aug. 18.

After a morning and afternoon of practice sessions, performances and jams, attendees gathered in the Silver Creek pavilion for the concert.

After a few songs from Ukulele Drive and the Two Harbors Ukulele Group (THUG, the host group of the weekend) the 140 players pulled out their ukuleles for the massive strum-along. The songs chosen for the strum-along remained in the 1950s and 1960s theme for the weekend, including a Buddy Holly medley and Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl."
