SiebenCarey has announced the promotion of Eric Beyer to partner at the firm. Beyer’s legal practice focuses on car accident, workers’ compensation, serious personal injury and wrongful death claims. He joined SiebenCarey in 2016 and manages the law firm’s Duluth office. SiebenCarey is a personal injury firm headquartered in Minneapolis, with offices in Duluth and Lakeville. The firm’s 18 attorneys handle cases throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.
“Eric is a tenacious advocate who takes great pride in achieving justice for the injured,” said Jim Carey, managing partner of the firm. “He is universally regarded as a very accomplished and ethical trial lawyer working solely on behalf of injured people and working families. This is a well-deserved promotion and we are pleased to have Eric join us as a partner.”
Beyer was recognized on the 2019 Minnesota Super Lawyers list and has been named a Rising Star honoree by Super Lawyers for multiple years. Super Lawyers ask Minnesota’s top lawyers to identify an elite group of emerging lawyers who are either under the age of 40 or have practiced law for less than 10 years, and who have demonstrated the highest standards of excellence. Only 2.5 percent of the state’s attorneys are named to the list. In 2003, he received Minnesota Lawyer’s “Up and Coming Attorneys” award reserved for attorneys who have distinguished themselves during their first 10 years of practice. Beyer was one of 25 honorees selected.
Throughout his career of helping injured Minnesotans, Beyer has won significant verdicts and settlements. He is licensed to practice law in state and federal court in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Beyer received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 1995 and his Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in 1998.
