There are many reasons to hire someone to clean your home or business. The number one reason is to save your valuable time. Who wants to spend their day off doing dreaded housework? With life moving at such a fast pace, your time is better spent on something personal or with family. Do you think it may be too expensive? The answer: definitely not. A good cleaning with regularly scheduled services will not cost more than a nice dinner for two.
Temper tantrums can be very trying for parents, particularly when they take place in a public setting. It might be comforting for new parents to know that you are not alone. We have all been there or will be there at some point. Children, like adults, have emotions that need to be expressed. However, young children do not know how to appropriately express these feelings. That is why we often see temper tantrums.
Like many others in our community, I was saddened to hear a few months ago that the Two Harbors Chamber of Commerce would not be able to continue organizing the annual Winter Frolic celebration in Two Harbors. Events such as this take commitment not only from a dedicated committee but also from the community as a whole. Upon hearing the news I immediately felt an obligation to our community to take whatever action I could to keep the Two Harbors Winter Frolic going.

Stopping in at Goodwill last week, I found the sweater that says it all. It had pumpkins, cornucopias, elves, reindeer and pine trees - two themes knit into one sweater. It was screaming, "it's holiday season!" in very bright colors. No, I didn't buy that particular one, but it sure got me in the mood for the activities coming up for Socially Active Seniors!
If you have spent any time around a toddler you have undoubtedly seen a temper tantrum, but all children's tantrums do not look the same. Some children may yell, scream, cry, kick, bite, hit, throw things, while others may not make any noise and just refuse to do anything. Understanding how a toddler's mind works may help us better understand why these tantrums occur, as well as give us a better idea of how to deal with this behavior. Tantrums usually begin between 12-18 months, when toddlers are beginning to understand that the world is bigger than themselves.
