Lake-effect snow piles up in Superior, will move to North Shore today
A band of lake-effect snow left nearly a foot of accumulation near Superior from Friday evening through early Saturday morning, the National Weather Service reported. A weather spotter five miles southeast of Superior reported 11.5 inches of snow as of 2:45 a.m. Saturday.
