Girls hockey: Storm lose to Bluejackets

The North Shore Storm girls lost to Hibbing/Chisholm 7-1 Tuesday, Nov. 28, in Hibbing.

The Bluejackets scored seven unanswered goals before North Shore was able to get there only goal late in the third period. The lone Storm goal was scored by Callie Klemmer with assists by Sydney Haugan and Gracie Komarek. Lilka Mojkowski was in the net for the Storm with 27 saves.

The Bluejackets had three power play goals, all scored by Lillian Rue. The other four goals were on even strength with Allie Bussey scoring two and Julia Gherardi and Sydney Haben both with one. Abby Edstrom was in net for Hibbing/Chisholm. She faced 14 shots on goal and save 13.

The Storm (0-5) will take on Hayward Co-Op at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, in Silver Bay.

The girls take on Cloquet-Esko-Carlton at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, in Silver Bay and at Superior at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7.
