Let’s play ball!

On June 27, the Minnesota Twins Baseball Club will host a free clinic for kids ages 6 to 16. Participants will learn the fundamentals of hitting, fielding and throwing.

Those interested are asked to bring their own gloves, but all other equipment will be provided, including a free Twins baseball cap for everyone. The clinic is open to both baseball and softball players. The younger players, ages 6 to 9, will have a session from 2-3:30 p.m. and the older group, ages 10 to 16, will have a clinic from 3:30-5 p.m.

The clinics will be at Odegaard Park in Two Harbors. In case of rain, they will be held at the Lake County Arena.
