Two Harbors City Council to hold special meeting for CIP discussion
The Two Harbors City Council is holding a special meeting Wednesday to discuss its Capital Improvement Plan projects for 2018.
The meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall. The projects scheduled for 2018 include: rebuilding Ninth Avenue between Sixth and Seventh streets, including replacing the curbs, sidewalks, sanitary sewer and water main at a cost of $549,870; reconstructing 13th Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues with infrastructure improvements to the curb, storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water main at a cost of $363,380; rebuilding Ninth Street between 10th and 11th avenues with a sidewalk on one side at a cost of $165,200; and $51,000 to reconstruct the Burlington Bay Campground entrance.
The plan also includes more than $760,000 to rebuild and pave the alleys north of Second Avenue between Fourth and Fifth streets, north of Third Avenue between Third and Fourth streets, north Fourth Avenue between Fifth and Sixth streets, north of Seventh Avenue between Seventh and Eighth streets and north of Eighth Avenue between Seventh and Eighth streets.
