Frost advisory issued for parts of the Northland for tonight

Clearing skies meant sunshine and warmer weather in the Northland today - but they'll also lead to some chilly conditions tonight.

The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a frost advisory for the early morning hours Monday for northern parts of the Northland, including the Iron Range, International Falls and areas of the Arrowhead away from Lake Superior.

Low temperatures in those areas may fall into the lower to middle 30s early Monday morning, causing areas of frost that could damage sensitive plants. Mostly clear skies will aid in cooling tonight, helping temperatures fall to unseasonable lows.

Lows in the Twin Ports tonight should be in the lower 40s.
