Bemidji State University

Alexis Jacobson from Silver Bay earned dean's list honors from Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minn., at the conclusion of the fall term.
To be eligible for the list, students must be enrolled for at least 12 credits and earn a 3.5 grade-point average during the semester.

Gustavus Adolphus College

Abigail Michels of Two Harbors has been named to the fall semester dean's list at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn.
The list includes students who earned a 3.7 grade-point average or higher based on a 4.0 scale.

Michigan Technological University

Owen Cruikshank, a Two Harbors High School graduate, has been named to the fall semester dean's list at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Mich. To qualify for the list, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

Cruikshank, a physics major, had a 4.0 GPA. He is the son of Kirsten Cruikshank and Daniel Cruikshank.

The College of St. Scholastica

Michael Dyste and Katelyn Johnson of Silver Bay graduated from The College of St. Scholastica during fall commencement Dec. 16.

Dyste graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.

Johnson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in management.

University of Wisconsin-Stout

Timothy Bott of Two Harbors and Hannah Baker of Silver Bay have received the University of Wisconsin-Stout Chancellor's Award for the fall semester. The award is presented to students who have a grade-point average of 3.5 or above.

Bott is majoring in marketing and business education.
Baker is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science.
