Hannah Baker of Silver Bay received the University of Wisconsin-Stout Chancellor's Award for the spring semester. The award is presented to students who have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Kari Smerud of Silver Bay was named to the dean's list at St. Olaf College. To receive the honor, a student must obtain a GPA of 3.17 or higher. Smerud also graduated cum laude in May with a bachelor's in biology.

Hattie K. Geist of Finland was named to the dean's list at St. Lawrence University. To receive the honor, a student must obtain a GPA of 3.6 or higher.

Michael Nordean of Two Harbors graduated from Rochester Community and Technical College in May with an associates in law enforcement. Nordean was also named to the dean's list. To receive the honor, a student must obtain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Carter Manning of Beaver Bay and Jerri Swardstrom of Two Harbors graduated from Wisconsin Technical College in May. Manning received a two-year technical diploma in heating, ventilation and air conditioning/refrigeration. Swardstrom received an associate degree in nursing.

Valencia Ruprecht of Two Harbors was named to the dean's list at St. Cloud Technical and Community College. To receive the honor, a student must obtain a GPA of 3.5 to 3.9.

Kiersten Rohde of Two Harbors graduated summa cum laude from St. Cloud State University in May with a bachelor's in communications studies.

Kristiina Thums of Finland was named to the dean's list at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. To receive the honor, a student must obtain a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Tannor Aho of Two Harbors was named to the president's roll of honor at the University of North Dakota. To receive the honor, a student must obtain a GPA of 3.8 or higher. Aho was also named to the dean's list, which comprises of students whose GPA are in the top 15 percent of the enrollment in each of the university's degree granting colleges and schools.
