Monday, Aug. 27

Inmate Population: 11

• 1:26 a.m. Deputy and Lake County Rescue Squad responded to car vs. deer on Minnesota Highway 61. No serious injuries to the driver reported.

• 1:42 a.m. Deputy responded to report of a disturbance on County Road 1 near Ely. Party advised to quiet down.

• 1:13 p.m. Deputy attempted to locate driver with possible suspended license. Unable to locate.

• 9:10 p.m. Deputy and Lake County Rescue Squad responded to medical in Silver Bay. One transported by ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Mary's Hospital.

Tuesday, Aug. 28

Inmate Population: 10

• 8:03 a.m. Deputy on water patrol in the Ely area.

• 10:14 a.m. Deputy, along with Silver Bay Police Department, checked welfare of individual walking along Outer Drive.

• 11:29 a.m. Deputy made traffic stop on County Road 2 near East Alger Grade Road.

• 12:24 p.m. Deputies, along with Two Harbors Police Department, attempted to locate vehicle of party dumping garbage at Beaver Bay business. Vehicle located and cited for theft.

• 5 p.m. Deputies on water patrol in Ely and Silver Bay area.

• 6:11 p.m. Deputy at community event in Knife River.

• 8:08 a.m. Deputy made traffic stop on Penn Boulevard near Reed Drive. Warned for no tail lights or headlights.

Wednesday, Aug. 29

• 5:07 a.m. Deputy made traffic stop on County Road 2 near 23rd Avenue. Warned for speed.

• 7:42 a.m. Deputy made traffic stop on County Road 2 near Wales Road. Warned for speed.

• 3:27 p.m. Deputy out with vehicle parked on County Road 1.

• 3:55 p.m. Deputy assisted public with ride.

• 3:59 p.m. Deputy made traffic stop on County Road 2 near Kane Lake Road.

• 4:36 p.m. Deputy takes report of items missing from a Two Harbors residence.

• 5:31 p.m. Deputy checked welfare of animals on County Road 3.

• 7:41 p.m. Deputy responded to check welfare of individual laying on the side of Scenic Drive. Unable to locate.

• 8:02 a.m. Deputy transports inmate from Kandiyohi County to Lake County Jail.

• 9:19 a.m. Deputy responded to medical on Pine Bay Loop Road.

• 4:09 p.m. Deputy responded to report of a vehicle hitting a tree on Hefflefinger Road. One brought to Lake County Jail for DWI.

• 4:11 p.m. Deputy made traffic stop on Lax Lake Road near Forest Highway 11.

• 4:31 p.m. Lake County Rescue Squad responded to medical on Law Drive.

• 6:47 p.m. Deputies responded to report of an intoxicated person at Grand Superior Lodge.

• 6:57 p.m. Lake County Rescue Squad at Two Harbors High School for football game.

• 8:54 p.m. Lake County Rescue Squad responded to report of party needing lift assist.

• 3:17 p.m. Deputy, along with Silver Bay Police Department, responded to report of suspicious activity at residence on Minnesota Highway 61.

• 6:09 p.m. Deputy posted papers at residence on Kawishiwi Trail.

• 9:37 p.m. Deputy responded to report of vehicle in the middle of Two Harbors Road with flashers on. Tow on the way.

• 10:31 p.m. Deputy responded to report of trees down on County Road 2, blocking road.

• 11:12 p.m. Deputy out with unoccupied vehicle on Forest Highway 11.

• 11:21 p.m. Deputy and Lake County Rescue Squad responded to report of a tree on fire on Little Marais Road.

• 4:02 a.m. Deputy made traffic stop on Seventh Avenue near Ninth Street. Warned for speed.

• 9:43 a.m. Deputy, along with Two Harbors Police Department, responded to report of suspicious activity.

• 10:26 a.m. Deputy responded to report of burglary at storage container on County Road 3.

• 1:59 p.m. Deputy, along with Silver Bay Police Department, responded to report of a domestic on the side of Minnesota Highway 61.
