Get well wishes go out to Linda Nikolai. Linda had surgery on Friday and returned home on Sunday.

The St. Urho’s weekend is coming fast and a couple of events have planned to get the festivities started. The theme this year is “hunting and fishing.” The “opener” is Friday, March 14, with activities all weekend long. It will be a fun parade, so get those floats going.

March 2— St. Urho Scavenger Hunt

Registration for scavenger hunt teams of 2-3 will begin at the West Branch Bar & Grill starting at 1:30 p.m. The hunt will take place all over town with participants taking photos of their teammates with the items on their scavenger lists. Afterwards everyone will meet at Our Place at 4 p.m. Registration is $5 and there will be a cash prize of $50 for the winning team. All are welcome to join the fun. Children under 15 must be with an adult.

March 7, 8, 9 — St Urho’s Float Workshop

A workshop will take place at the Clair Nelson Center from 10 a.m. - 4p.m. at the Clair Nelson Center. There will be paper mache and other prop making to get ready for the big parade! All are welcome – refreshments provided.
