North Shore Horizons hosts Minnesota Clothesline Project
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and in memory and honor of those who have lost their lives to interpersonal violence, North Shore Horizons will present the Minnesota Clothesline Project.
The exhibit, which includes T-shirts created by advocates and family and friends of victims, will be displayed at North Shore Horizons' office Oct. 21-24, with a free open house planned for Tuesday, Oct. 22, at NSH from 3-5 p.m.
North Shore Horizons provides shelter, support groups, legal advocacy, information about community resources and more to victims of domestic violence in the Two Harbors area. It also has a satellite office in Silver Bay at the Mary Mac Building, which is open three days per month and by appointment.
