Castle Danger Brewery in Two Harbors opened their doors to a sea of eager customers last weekend, finally welcoming beer lovers to regular hours at the taproom and expanded brewery the owners built this year after first starting the beer business in 2011.

Owners Jamie and Clint MacFarlane cut a ribbon Friday afternoon an hour before the official opening (2), flanked by new employees, family members, supporters and members of the Two Harbors Area Chamber of Commerce. Jamie teared up while speaking about the business, and cut the ribbon to generous applause. The opening weekend was packed with music, tours and food and kicked off the new regular hours for the brewery at 17 7th St. in downtown Two Harbors. The taproom will be open Wednesday through Sunday; full hours are available on their website at Photos by Jim Erickson.
