Two Harbors residents learn about upcoming city projects
About 20 community members attended the Two Harbors Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) Open House on Tuesday, Dec. 5 to ask questions about upcoming projects.
City staff and councilors were on hand to answer any questions that the community members had about the CIP, ranging from how much it was going to cost them, to the issues they see with infrastructure where they live.
Those who attended had a chance to look over the current list of projects five years out as well learn more about the estimated costs and the Minnesota State Statute Chapter 429 process. The Chapter 429 lays out the process a city must follow in order to complete a road project and assess a certain amount to the property owners.
The City Council is expected to receive a feasibility report from Bolton & Menk at the beginning of 2018.
