The Knife River Recreation Council has the April community events called "A Woman in Afghanistan," featuring a talk from resident Hilary Buckwalter. The event will begin at 7 p.m. April 14 at the rec building. Buckwalter will share her first and lasting impressions of the country, its people, its sordid history and rich traditions.
