The William Kelley High School band received many instruments this year do to a generous donation from alumnus David Fedderly.

Fedderly is a WKHS graduate of 1972 and has played in the Baltimore Symphony and Baltimore Brass Co. The donation of marching percussion and marching baritone will allow the band to march in the annual Bay Days parade, as well as St. Urho's. The band is also working on traveling to Bayfield, Wis., to march in the Apple Festival parade in early October.

The band also received instruments to help students who are financially unable to purchase their own, but still want to participate in band. The band is excited to continue the tradition of being the musical ambassadors for not only WKHS, but the Silver Bay community.

Anyone interested in helping support the WKHS Music Department please contact Kerri Bilben or Mary Carroll at WKHS.
