Sports roundup: April 25
Two Harbors softball 1-1
Last year, the team ended the season 7-5. Five strong returning players will anchor the team this year, including sophomore Sara Fjeran, junior Jasmine Hiukka, freshman Ayla Lemke and seniors Lindsey Anderson and Courtney Brandt.
Captails are catcher Hiukka, left-fielder Anderson and second baseman Brandt. Fjeran will start as pitcher. She batted a .485 last year and led the Polar League in at-bats and stolen bases. Lemke will play short stop – she led the conference last year with 18 RBIs and 33 at-bats.
