Alt HealthWatch ‘focuses on the many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated approaches to healthcare and wellness.’ Among these alternative titles are journals from Canadian research, African alternative journals, Tibetan medicine, acupuncture, Indian Ayurvedic practices, Western and Chinese medicine and many more disciplines. Two Harbors Public Library News
Open House, Friday, July 25, 3-5 p.m., Two Harbors Public Library
Michele Monson, director of the Two Harbors Public Library, will be leaving us at the end of this summer. She has played a dynamic role at the library, leading us through a major remodeling project, the selection and installation of new artwork, and the updating of all our computer stations, just to name a few of her accomplishments. She will be sorely missed. In honor of Michele’s hard work, we will host a farewell open house, both as an opportunity to celebrate her good work and as an opportunity for the general public to say goodbye. Wanting this to be a festive event, we will have displays showing some of what Michele has accomplished while here, a guest book for people to sign and leave fun comments in, and an assortment of teas, coffee and bars. Make sure you stop by to say “hello” and wish Michele luck as she moves on.
