Finland News: Sept. 20
Bob and Gayle Nikolai attended the memorial service for Duane Saaristo on Monday in Cloquet.
There was a great turnout for the First Annual Save the Booya event. Many crafters were on hand. Booya, fried bread and Paul's corn on the cob all sold out. The Zion Lutheran Church women had a very large selection of delicious pies. Music was provided by Houley and Mo. A big thank you goes out to the Stacy Breden and Julie Arnold for heading up this event with Friends of the Finland Community Committee and all the volunteers who came to help out.
The lucky winners of the smoke alarms given by Finland Fire and Rescue at the booya were Janet Anselment and Al Greenberg.
