"Fiddler" this weekend
“Fiddler on the Roof” kicks off its two-weekend run tonight in the Two Harbors High School auditorium. The musical, set in Russia in the early 1900s, will be performed by the Lake Superior Community Theater. It’s the first performance by the theater company in Two Harbors – over the last decade, all of its shows have been in Silver Bay.
The show runs tonight at 7 p.m., tomorrow at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. It runs next weekend, too, Friday through Sunday at 7 p.m.

Dinner theater Tomorrow, treat yourself to dinner and a show with the Community Partners Dinner Theater and Silent Auction.
The dinner, a fundraiser for local nonprofit, Community Partners, will take place in the Two Harbors High School cafeteria. The event begins at 4:30 p.m. with the silent auction. A Rustic Inn dinner will be served at 5 p.m.
Tickets, available at all branches of the Lake Bank, are $12 for adults and $6 for children under 6.
Fiddler bus from Silver Bay to Two Harbors Silver Bay residents hoping to save gas money and still make it to the musical can sign up to take a bus from the William Kelley parking lot to Two Harbors High School next Friday.
The bus will leave the WKS parking lot for THHS at 5:30 p.m. on April 11 and return immediately following the performance. The cost is $7.50 and you must reserve your spot before April 9 at 4:30 p.m.
Twenty-four people must be signed up for the bus to run. Sign up before April 9 by calling the Silver Bay Community Education office at 218-226-4437 ext. 8137 or the Two Harbors Community Education office at 834-8201 ext. 8227. Alternatively, email email@example.com.
