Eldred Bredow, 82, of Superior, Wis., died Sunday April 13, 2014 at Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation Center in Duluth.
He was born Aug. 26, 1931 to Albert and Alma (Hoffman) Bradow in Wisconsin, where he grew up. Eldred moved to Two Harbors and worked for the Minnesota Highway Department for several years before serving in the Army during the Korean War. Upon his return, Eldred worked as a millwright in construction and then in the mining industry in Hibbing. He later worked in Arizona and last worked for US G in Cloquet, until retiring. Eldred was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his brother, Arnold Bredow of Duluth; sister, Irma Hoffman of Indianapolis, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
