Every Valentine’s Day, Ecumen Scenic Shore crowns its royalty. The residents in the assisted living apartments and care center vote for their Valentine king and queen. Homecoming royalty from Two Harbors High School crown the winners.

Last Friday afternoon, Fred Scmidt and Lorraine Hendrickson were crowned king and queen of the assisted living center. Delinda Riley and Charles Brembt were crowned in the care center wing. Mia Minkkinen, Courtney Brandt and Brandon Duggar of the Two Harbors Homecoming court were on hand to present the crowns and pass out treats at the assisted living center. Music was provided by the Old Timers Band, Warren “Twig” Johnson and Dennis Swanson.
