Dr. Jacob Oestreich joins Lake View Medical Clinic Primary care physician Dr. Jacob Oestreich joined Lake View Medical Clinic in Two Harbors on Dec. 9.
He brings with him six years of experience as a staff physician at Lake Superior Community Health Center in Duluth. Oestreich also has an interest in international medicine; he and his wife have donated their time providing medical care in tent cities in Haiti over the past two years.
Oestreich graduated from the University of Minnesota- Duluth Medical School and completed his residency at the Duluth Family Practice Residency Program.
Lake View Medical Clinic is a department of Lake View Hospital, a member of the St. Luke’s system.
Steven Bragg of Calhoun Companies attends conference Steven L. Bragg of Calhoun Companies Arrowhead Office in Lutsen, Minn., has just returned from a road trip to Savannah, Ga., after attending another International Business Brokerage Association conference and completing another set of continuing education courses presented by the University of Advanced Education for the Business Intermediary. The International Business Brokers Association sponsored this five-day educational event in Savannah.
Bragg has been a member of the IBBA since 1996 and earned the designation of Certified Business Intermediary in 2000 after extensive training and testing. The CBI designation requires 53 hours of continuing education classes and attending two IBBA conferences every three years.
Bragg received his Real Estate Sales Persons License in 1994 and his Minnesota and Wisconsin Real Estate Brokers Licenses in 2003, He has sold businesses in northern Minnesota and western Wisconsin for the past 18 years.
Broadband hires Lake Connections is pleased to announce the addition of Georgia Walker and Josh Brodin as customer support specialists at their facility in Two Harbors.
Brodin has extensive telecommunication experience, most recently employed as a team leader with a legal support services firm in Tampa, Fla. Over the past seven years, Brodin supervised operations and customer service associates. He graduated from the College of St. Scholastica and recently moved backed to the Duluth area in May 2013.
Walker also has several years of experience in the telecommunications industry, working as a contract administrator for a large construction company based out of Maple Lake, Minn., During that time, she was responsible for contract administration, including obtaining information for telecommunications bids, working with engineering firms upon award, and purchasing materials for projects.
Lake Connections is bringing high-speed Internet, voice, and digital TV services to Lake and eastern St. Louis Counties. The fiber-optic broadband project will occur in three phases, the first of which to be available by the end of 2013.
