THAF celebrates milestone with food, music

The Two Harbors Area Fund's mission is to enhancing the quality of life for residents in the Two Harbors area and provide grants for worthy projects in the area.

On Sept. 30, THAF celebrated a milestone with the Million Dollar Celebration free dinner for the community, after reaching their goal of $1 million. The festivities were held under a big tent set up in the parking lot next to the Community Center in Two Harbors.

The local favorite, The Northwood's Band kicked off the social hour at 5:30 p.m. This was followed by dinner catered by several local restaurants.

After dinner speeches were given and an award ceremony held. Afterward, The Northwood's Band continued to play during the evening.
