Patients and staff got a pleasant surprise Monday morning as Santa Claus made a trip down to Lake View Hospital in Two Harbors to spread some Christmas cheer.

Santa spent time visiting with patients and singing Christmas carols as they ate lunch in the Lake View cafeteria. The jolly fat man also took some time to say hello to some of the staff at Lake View before scurrying back to the North Pole to finish his own Christmas preparations before he takes Rudolph, Donner, Blitzen and the rest of his reindeer team out for their annual trek around the globe.
