Two Harbors Public Library

The Two Harbors Public Library is now scheduling artists for our 2018 season. Whether you specialize in drawing, painting, photography, fiber arts or another art form, as long as your work can be displayed on the Walker Display System, we are happy to accept it.

Our display space is 8 feet wide by 6 feet tall, and the wall is painted off-white as a neutral backdrop. We use a steel walker display system with a variety of interchangeable parts, depending on the size and requirements of the works to be displayed.

Applications can be submitted any time, whether dropped-off at the library, sent through the mail or via email. The full policy with accompanying application form can be found on our website at

Exhibits are generally displayed for two months at a time, with our first opening beginning Jan. 1. We accept applications requesting particular months or seasons.

The cost to display is entirely free. We will also promote your works throughout the community, connecting local art lovers with local, regional and statewide artists. The library will not handle sales, but will connect patrons to the artists to handle sales directly.

We love art, and we hope you will consider displaying at our location.

Silver Bay Public Library

Do you have a surplus of nylon or cotton tote bags or backpacks accumulating in the back of your car or spilling out of your pantry? If you want them to be repurposed, bring them to the library where they will continue a life of productivity. We like it when people come in and check out more materials than they can carry.

Help the library, a neighbor, the planet and clean the car. We will all appreciate it.
