Lake County Developmental Achievement Center recently received a donation in remembrance of Howard Mallory.

Mallory gave all of his time and energy in support of Special Olympics and served on the DAC Board for many years. He raised money by accepting donations as well as collecting and recycling cans in the community. His work in these programs will be forever remembered by those who benefited from his efforts.

The donation was presented at the Lake County Recycling Center in Two Harbors, given by Mallory's daughter, Laurie Mallory and received by Michelle McDonald, DAC program director.

The DAC is a private, nonprofit licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services to provide day services and day training and habilitation for developmentally disabled adults.
